We are pleased to announce that we are changing our name to Altabank effective

November 12, 2019*

We are the same bank with the same ownership. We are refining, improving and clarifying who we are as we continue to serve more clients in more locations, from Preston, Idaho to St. George, Utah.

The services you currently use -- checking and savings, online banking, credit cards, etc. -- will continue to work on the day of the change as they do today, and the same people will be here to serve you at our same locations. Why is the Bank rebranding?
We are creating an updated brand to clarify that Bank of American Fork, Lewiston State Bank, and People’s Town & Country Bank are part of the same bank family.

These bank brands will come together under a single name and logo, ensuring that clients will receive the same treatment and services from Preston, Idaho, to St. George, Utah.

When will the name change take place?
The changes will take place on November 12, 2019.

When will the website be updated with the new logo and brand name?
A new website with the updated name and logo will go live on November 12, 2019. The current website URLs and any saved shortcuts will redirect you to the new site.

How will this affect me moving forward?
While the name is changing, our services are not. You will not experience any changes to your accounts or your loans as a result of the rebrand. Because routing and account numbers will remain unchanged, you will see no disruption to any automatic payments or direct-deposit services that you have in place.

When your current card is scheduled to be replaced (near the card’s expiration date), you will receive an updated card with the new name and logo. Your existing card(s) will continue to work as expected until then.

What branch locations can I access after this rebrand?
You will have the same access to all of our locations as you did before we rebranded.

When will I start to see the name and logo changes on my statements?
Statements will be updated starting December 1, 2019. Since statements are sent out on multiple dates throughout the month, you will see the new name and logo within one to two months of December 1. The date will depend on the statement cycle you are on.

Will I still have the same relationship manager?
Yes, you will still have the same relationship manager.

Will this change affect FDIC insurance on my account(s)?
No, your deposits will continue to be insured up to the FDIC’s insurance limit.

Will there be any events with opportunities for me to discuss the new brand with the bank?
Yes, open houses will be held at each branch during the week of November 11, 2019, with free new brand swag.

Will my debit card and credit card still work after the rebrand?
Yes, your debit card and credit card will still work after the rebrand. You may pick up a new debit card or order a new credit card with the Altabank logo free of charge.

Will my mobile banking app need to be updated?
If you currently use the Bank of American Fork mobile banking app, you will be prompted to update your app to see the new changes. If you currently use the Lewiston State Bank or People’s Town & Country mobile banking apps, you will need to visit the app store to download the new mobile banking app.

Will there be any changes to the checks that I use?
No, the checks that you have and use will continue to work as they currently do. You will not need to order new checks with the new bank name and logo. If you do order new checks after November 11, 2019, the new checks will have the new bank name and logo. Any checks ordered before November 12 will have the current name and logo. Should you choose to order new checks with the new name and logo, you will be expected to cover the cost of that order.

Will the rebrand affect my automatic payments or deposits?
No. As the bank’s routing number and all account numbers will remain the same, any automatic payments or depository services, such as Bill Pay or Direct Deposit, will be unaffected. You will not need to re-enroll in any bank services if you have done so previously.

Will my online banking change after the rebrand?
No. Your online banking username and password will not change after the rebrand. On November 12, 2019 you will see an update to the current website to reflect the name change.

Will ATMs change?
ATM locations will remain the same.

Will there be any changes to rates for loans or loan products due to the rebrand?
No, loan rates and products will not be affected by the rebrand.

Will there be any changes to ExpressDeposit™ (i.e., the remote-deposit capture service)?
ExpressDeposit™ will continue to work as it currently does and will be updated with the mobile app and online site to display the new brand.

Should I expect other changes from the bank?
Yes, the bank is constantly looking for ways to improve its services and remain the best bank for your business.
